Rod Jahner has a passion for executive development and coaching that was honed in the financial services industry.  His career with Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank gave him a global perspective.   Rod was based in Singapore for 10 years and has worked in over 20 countries in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.  His 90+% satisfaction standard was routinely met in courses attended by thousands of participants.

Jahner is a Master Coach, a member of the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) and has earned the designation of Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC), which involves a vigorous examination process and adherence to strict ethical and professional standards.

Having established LFI in early 2009 expressly for the purpose of providing improvement services for executives, his unique blend of experience includes:

• 25 years in consumer bank  risk management with two global institutions
• Recent contracts with three other global institutions
• Insight into what works, and more importantly, how institutions have failed when losing sight of sound risk management fundamentals
• 12 years of management, design and delivery of risk management training

• Managed best in class training in Asia Pacific covering 11 countries
• Expertise in course design, case studies and management simulations

• Working relationships with multiple subject matter experts who have:

• Managed risk through full economic cycles
• Developed relevant management simulations including crisis management

• Co-authored the successful Basel Waiver Application for Standard Chartered Bank

Jahner’s community service involvement has included seven years as the commissioner of the Singapore American Football League (SAFL), an all volunteer program providing a playing opportunity for 150+ student athletes in three age based leagues.  Rod also served as a board member and treasurer of the Singapore American Community Action Council (SACAC).
